When I made the decision to start personal training in 2017, it was because I was unhappy with my body and the habits I had formed in my eating. Having heard about Simply Fit's PT sessions, I decided to join up with a goal of feeling comfortable in a bikini for my upcoming holiday.
Simply Fit’s sessions were extremely personalised for my needs but also very educational. They not only trained me but taught me how to exercise independently and put me on track for good eating habits too. In the short term with Simply Fit, the transformation in my body was very recognisable and I was confident on the holiday for which I had set my goal. However, in the long term, I gained the independence to continue in these habits and ensure that I remained fitter, healthier and overall a lot happier. I cannot recommend Craig @ Simply Fit enough to do him justice!
At 20 stone I was at rock bottom and recognised my need to change – that was half my battle, acknowledging that something in my life needed to change. My own personal efforts helped me move off a stone, but then I stopped. I had accepted the ‘Need’ but was missing the ‘What’ and the ‘How’. That’s when a friend recommended Craig @ Simply Fit to me. I don’t know why I put off seeing Craig, fear of a PT? Fear of the Gym maybe? Not knowing what to expect? Not knowing what to do? What I can now share with you is I was wrong to wait. My wife finally booked me in to see Craig and I had my initial appointment. Craig was great, he asked simple questions and listened. He didn’t judge me and he made me feel welcome. He took on board what I wanted to achieve – gave me advice to get started then booked me in for my first round of PT. He explained what to expect and set my ambition up with me.

So why can I recommend Craig? Simple (just like his company name)…. RESULTS. I have been seeing Craig for 10 months. He’s made my PT experience engaging and varied. He coaches me, pushes me to achieve beyond where my own personal limits would have stopped me, makes me work hard and makes me feel rewarded for my efforts, gives me advice and checks in on me. He’s flexible and works around my time too. I trust Craig and he doesn’t let me down.

Today I weigh 14st 12lb. Life for me is very different and I have a new feeling about me – pride and positivity…. Yes you need to deliver for yourself, you need to accept the need to change and do better, you need to turn up and put in the effort….. but you need a good PT to join YOU on YOUR journey….
